Yaz Releases Sweet Music Video For Her Single “Anymore”

Yaz is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from London, England. Not so long ago, he released a nice music video for his second single, titled “More», produced by Wonderbeats and The Six.

The video shows Yaz traversing the familiar cityscape of her hometown, starting in a nondescript meadow and ending with her pensive gaze out of a bus window. The eclectic, fast-paced video truly immerses the viewer in the colorful world of Yaz’s hypnotic liquid DnB.

“I never thought I would say I don’t want to go back. I never thought we could break up. But now I notice all the cracks in our dialect, all the things you forgot. I admit I wasn’t done yet, but I have to let you go now. I’m standing in the street waiting by the bus stop, where we used to meet. And you don’t you’re gone, you’re gone I can’t bear, bear the thought that you don’t care anymore. – Yaz explained

“Anymore” tells the touching story of a young woman who often finds herself walking past her ex-partner’s house. Apparently, every time she walks past his house, she wonders what it would be like when she sees him again. Later, she admits, “I lived it all in my head, over and over. People ask me if we can ever be friends. Again and again and again, I wish they would forget.

“Anymore” features post-relationship-based storytelling and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of PinkPantheress and Elphi. The sympathetic tune boasts fast-paced, drum-laden instrumentation flavored with electronic and hyper-pop elements. Additionally, “Anymore” slightly follows Yaz’s debut single, “Mr Valentine,” written about her boyfriend, whose middle name just happens to be Valentine.
