What happened to Nina Jankowicz’s disinformation panel? Researcher trends online with video resurfaces after Biden halts initiative plans

The newly formed Disinformation Governance Council has been suspended by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its former executive director, Nina Jankowicz, has resigned.

They questioned her competence, particularly after it was revealed that she had dismissed Hunter Biden’s 2020 laptop findings as “product of the Trump campaign”.

She spread false information about then-candidate Donald Trump’s ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2016, which have now been refuted.

Nina Jankowicz said:

“With the work of the board suspended and its future uncertain…I have decided to leave DHS to return to my work in the public sphere.”

However, DHS had agreed to suspend the work of the board on Monday, and Jankowicz had already written his resignation letter Tuesday morning.

During a call with DHS authorities on Tuesday evening, she was given the choice to stay.

Internet users react to the resignation of Nina Jankowicz and again troll her viral video

Nina Jankowicz has resigned from the Ministry of Truth and her operations have been suspended and may be completely shut down due to widespread mockery of her insane singing and being exposed as an agent of disinformation herself! 😁🤣

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the board was “grossly and deliberately misinterpreted.”

“It was never about censorship or policing in any way. It is designed to ensure that we fulfill our mission to protect the homeland while protecting fundamental constitutional rights.”

According to DHS, the purpose of the council is to advise the government on how to combat lies propagated by foreign countries such as Russia and China and human traffickers. They use false assurances to entice migrants to cross the border into the United States.

Citizens reacted to the resignation of Nina Jankowicz on social networks.

Looks like Biden’s “ministry of truth” is already shutting down after barely operating for a month. This painting was a total joke from day one. Nina Jankowicz was a bigger joke. I am proud to see Americans standing up and opposing this radical advice and its dangerous views.

Jankowicz’s idea to defend the First Amendment was to allow “verified” Twitter users to “edit” other users’ tweets if the chosen blue ticks think they are misleading.

The disinformation expert was also reprimanded for a bizarre performance on TikTok in February 2021 in which she changed the lyrics of the “Mary Poppins” song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” to talk about fake news.

Jankowicz complained in her farewell statement that “the Board’s mischaracterizations have become a distraction from the Department’s vital work and, indeed, with recent world and national events, epitomize why it is needed.”

She says:

“I remain committed to raising awareness of the threats of misinformation and hope the Department will do the same,”

Nina Jankowicz has spent her entire career as a leftist, from her days at the National Democratic Institute on her Fulbright-Clinton Fellowship to her job at the Wilson Center, where she has regularly featured on NPR, CNN, PBS and others. while publishing editorials in The New York Times and The Washington Post.
