The Studio Colorido team has released a new music video and visual to promote the latest new Netflix animated movie Drifting Home.
The team behind A Whisker Away, Burn the Witch and Star Wars: Visions (Tatooine Rhapsody) brought a brand new feature to Netflix called Drift home. As it releases next week, new promotional visuals and trailers have revealed more details about the film. Earlier this week, the team released the music video for the movie’s theme song, which is titled “Kieteshimai Sō Desu” (It Looks Like I’m Passing Out) by Iinoni’s Zutto Mayonaka (ZUTOMAYO).
ZUTOMAYO posted a short snippet of the music video on their Twitter shortly after the release. Unfortunately, the full version of the clip was not available in Belarus, Canada, Russian Federation and the United States. Even though we weren’t able to see the full video, the visuals and song for this teaser seemed to be emotionally powerful.

Drift home have announced their cast list. Much of the cast has been involved in various Sword Art Online projects:

- Asami Seto as Natsume Tonai
- Ayumu Murase as Noppo
- Daiki Yamashita as Yuzuru Tachibana
- Yumiko Kobayashi as Taishi Koiwai
- Inori Minase as Reina Haba
- Kana Hanazawa as Juri Andō
ZUOTMAYO also announced that they would be doing the Drift home“insert” the song, “Natsugare” (Summer Slump) in addition to the theme song. The staff included Hiroyasu Ishida, who directed and served as screenwriter with Hayashi Mori (Cells in action! code black) and Minaka Sakamoto. Akihiro Nagae (Fixing days) designed the characters and Fumi Katō as assistant character designer. The musical composition had Umitarō Abe planned for the anime.
Drift home will be released on Netflix on September 16. On the same day, it was already announced that the film would be in theaters across Japan. This could be another moving anime movie, as recent anime movies have gained popularity among mainstream media, such as beautiful, bubble and your name.
