MK, BURNS and Teddy Swims release “Better” music video

Super-producer MK (Marc Kinchen) unveils the official video for his brand new single “Better”.

With user-generated videos for “Better” racking up over 3 million views worldwide, anticipation has been building for the official video, which sees the trio become late night saviors in the city of Los Angeles.

Directed by Ukrainian mixed media artist, photographer and filmmaker Ganna Bogdan, who has previously worked with Rimowa, Yeezy, Burberry, Calvin Klein and more, the video features model Oleksandra Suprunenko (also Ukrainian) as the protagonist and is a tongue in – a reflection of a call for things to get better.

“The story was inspired by my own personal experiences; I owned a vintage Mercedes that I loved so much, but it broke down in the most stressful situations, and each time I felt like I was about to lose her. … my [Ukranian] friends came to rescue me and we put on music while my car was towed away. My car broke down once a month until I finally got rid of it. But my friends encouraged me every time. It made me feel better in the most stressful situations…” – Ganna Bogdan

“Better” sees MK collaborate with LA-based British producer BURNS and American singer/songwriter Teddy Swims. Together they crafted an emotionally charged call to arms on the piano, on which Teddy tells us “the storm is over…the past behind us…let it go…it’ll get better”. A message encapsulating global sentiment in 2022; if summer wasn’t already underway, it’s now.
